Snowboard (not skiing) with the guys. We traveled to North Carolina beginning of March.

Here we all are. Ready for the slopes.

Strapping in for round 1

Most definitely me (Willie). I asked Dakota to get some sweet action shots of me. I was expecting him to capture me in the air. I apologize everyone, for Dakota failing to do that.

Trying to conceal the fear in my face, the fact that Cleveland is holding my camera out over like a 500 foot drop off.

Kadota (Okay, this is getting annoying)

Dakota looking swell!
We stayed with our Grandparents. It ended up raining the next day so we didn't hit the slopes. Turns out... Petie had some work for us!

Landscaping!

I must say. After about an hour of sweat, blood, dirt and like 20 trees and shrubs we completely reshaped the look of there home.

Dirt on Dakota's hands.

Dirt on Edgar's hands.

We decided to take a trip to Asheville's downtown. Where Cleveland spotted a old Volkswagen and just had to pose with it.

We're nicer than we look.

just knockin' around.

I pose next to a piece of junk. See that cup in my hand? That is the worst cup of hot chocolate ever made on earth. If remembered the name of the shop, that had the audacity too actually serve hot choco that is white and does not taste like chocolate at all. I would let the reader be aware of that particular shop. I'm sorry I can't remember the name.

Jay walking.

Danny is so content.

I have nothing to say about this. Actually I do. It was great having these guys on the trip.

Getting together behind a run down building for a picture. Danny sees something spectacular.

He has an S on his chest. I have bat on mine.

and Danny has letters on his chest.

Partners in saving lives.

Chillin'

Danny gets really excited when he sees a fire hydrant.

Free couch!

Cleve says, "We should go this way." Edgar is busy fighting off bad guys. Everyone else is considering Cleve's recommendation .

I chase a pigeon.

I think this really captures the moment.

Jerusalem Garden Cafe. If you are ever in downtown Asheville? I highly recommend this place. Not a thing over $10. The atmosphere was incredible, we got to sit on the floor surrounded by rug walls and mediteranean music. Quite a delightful experience.

For some reason it was up to this point in the trip, that everyone broke out there phones and where texting photos to friends and family, about our mediterranean experience.

First time eating lamb.

We stayed with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lisa on the way home.
Me, having made an incredible shot. Edgar playing an incredible air guitar.

Playing pool is so much more epic listening to music.

The pool table was an instant hit with the kids!
The break.
Shady Grady. Uncle Jeff's 2nd baby.

Chatting before we depart

Push-up challenge before we depart.

Bowling.

Nice form man!

Terrible bowling, but a great time.

I'm thankful for the friends the Lord has put in my life. I am blessed, we made great memories, we have grown closer to each other and have grown closer to Christ our Lord.
Thanks Guys, Willie

hahaha Nice captions! lol Makes me wanna go snowboarding looking at all those pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, Willie! All the snowboarding pictures make me wish we still lived up north so you could come with us again.. you could always come board down our 4ft high slide like the boys have. We have more wind then snow here. You guys could always come for a kite flying party :-P I could leave a bunch more comments on your often humorous pictures and captions, but you would probably get bored so I leave it at: Great Post :-)
