Since I've been down from all the infections and surgery and everything, I have not been able to tend to my garden and everything pretty much just went to pot. It looked horrible, everything was dying and the weeds were like eight feet tall in some places. It was very disappointing to me, because I couldn't really do anything about it (at least with my own hands), but God has blessed me by putting some awesome people in my life! A bunch of the men (and their boys) from our church and some of my family sacrificed part of their day to come and work in my garden from about 8:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday. It was a tremendous blessing to me! They brought some compost, brought a heavy duty tillavator, helped me get some things planted, thinned out some things, deweeded, mowed, they basically turned a forest into a fresh ground of plowed dirt to were I can start getting some new things planted in the ground again! I am so grateful for the friends and family that the Lord has given me!
Thank you so much everyone who helped! -Edgar
